Crystal Doors has continued a hot streak of environmental award wins, this time thanks to our energy efficiency and renewable energy partner Perfect Sense Energy.

On 1 September, Perfect Sense won the 2020 Small Scale Project of the Year at the North West Energy Efficiency Awards for installing our 246kWp rooftop solar PV system. Completed in 2020, our solar panels cover every square metre of available space on our roof and are capable of generating around 205,935kWh of clean renewable energy every year.

We would also like to congratulate Perfect Sense for being Highly Commended in the Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year category at this years’ awards. In related news, Crystal Doors is also a finalist in the Energy & Sustainability category in this year’s Make UK Manufacturing Awards. The award recognises manufacturers that have done the most to improve overall environmental performance and enhance sustainability. Regional winners will be announced in Oct/Nov, and if we are successful we will advance to the national awards in January 2022.
