Emissions from our van fleet are responsible for the lion's share of our Scope 1 footprint (the direct emissions from sources owned or controlled by Crystal Doors). We are taking measures to reduce these emissions through vehicle monitoring technology and transitioning to electric models over time.

Crystal Doors' factory is heated with a specially-designed 980kW biomass burner fed entirely by production waste (wood dust and unusable offcuts). This provides 100% off-grid heating that diverts a significant amount of material from the waste stream. Figures are currently estimated based on weight of material consumed and seasonal heating requirements.
